A terrible thing happened yesterday. Candy's husband Bill died. He went deer hunting in the woods of Oak Hill and didn't come home when Candy expected him so she went looking for him and found him dead. Mara called me last night to tell me. I'm so glad we had a redo of Sebastian's birthday dinner yesterday. We had a combination of Chinese and the homestyle vegan meal (mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy and truk'y cutlets) that Jules and his boys like. Long day yesterday. When I called the doctor's office they talked me into going to the ER. There were so many people waiting for the ER that they had turned the hallway over to the regular hospital into a waiting room too. We were sitting far down the hallway waiting.
